Recruitment of entries for Inzai Furusato Discovery Photo Contest.
This is the 33th photo contest of the Inzai City Tourism Association.
Let’s rediscover Inzai, the hometown where many folk performing arts and cultural assets remain, such as the beautiful seasonal lion dances and kagura of the Tone River and Lake Teganuma.
Please make a photo of your hometown and apply. If you don’t carry a camera with you, why don’t you take this opportunity to walk around the city and take pictures?
We are waiting for a large number of exhibitions from everyone inside and outside the city.
Application rules are as follows.
- Work theme
- There are no particular themes. We are looking for works that bring out the charm of Inzai City, such as its existing tourism resources, traditional performing arts, and culture.
- Work size
- Black-and-white and color prints Single photo in quarters only (wide quarters possible, A4 print possible in the case of a digital camera)
- Qualification requirements
- There are no particular restrictions.
- Application deadline
- January 31, 2024 (Wednesday) postmark valid
Photographed from February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024 - Application method
- Fill in the subject, shooting location, shooting date, address, name (furigana), phone number, shooting data (camera, lens, film, aperture, shutter speed, other filters used, etc.) on the application form and attach it to the back of the work. Please mail it or bring it to the address below.

- ●Unpublished works taken in the city within one year (up to 2 works per person can be submitted)
*Photos taken of Inzai City from outside the city are not permitted. - ●Composite processed photos are not allowed.
- ●If the subject includes a person, the person’s consent is required. The organizers are not responsible for infringement of portrait rights.
- ●About the use of small unmanned aircraft (drones, etc.)
If you are shooting in a no-fly zone, you must obtain permission from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism at the time of submitting your work.
“Please submit a copy of the certificate of approval.” (Works that appear to have been taken without strict compliance with laws and regulations will not be eligible for the photo contest.) - ●The copyright of the submitted work belongs to the organizer. Prize-winning works will be displayed at the Inzai City Tourist Information Center, and may also be used for publications by the Inzai City Tourism Association and the city.
- ●If you use a digital camera, the winning works will be an SD or CD containing the data and a service print. Please make and submit the original (negatives, positives, etc.) (reproductions not allowed) and service prints by yourself.
- ●If the subject includes a person, the person’s consent is required. The organizers are not responsible for infringement of portrait rights.
